I had the opportunity to collaborate with Wombat on two seperate film projects, and had an incredible time as he worked as both a director an Action Consultant. With his depth of knowledge and emphasis on safety coming from a place of passion, trusting his direction and vision came very quickly and naturally. Having experienced and unsafe set before, I was fortunate enough to have Wombat as my safety coordinator on the film "A Date With Death". I told him stories about how I was in unsafe environments before on other films and made sure my issues and limitations were heard. Wombat took on this comment and was able to create an environment where all action was safe whilst also pulling the most from his team of actors. 10/10 will work with him again.

I have worked with Wombat on numerous occasions. He is always professional, kind, and always has your safety in mind. His skills are clear with easy to understand demonstrations, and makes it easy to understand fight choreography. He was one of my instructors when completing my basic course in stage and screen combat at the action acting academy, and was one of the fight consultants for a feature film I worked on (A Date With Death) back in 2022-23. He is easily one of the first people I turn to when a great fight is needed for screen or stage, as I know it will be done in a safe and fun way.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with Wombat through the Action Acting Academy and independently as editor/ director and fight Consultant. He’s been invaluable to me for putting together various fight footage and fight reels which has absolutely helped me get work in the industry. Wombat is the go to for filming that I always advocate for whenever any filming opportunity comes up.

As an action consultant, Wombat's best trait is his focus on safety for everyone involved - when performing his choreography, I feel completely comfortable knowing the safety mechanisms that are in place, which allow me to dial my performance up to a high-level of emotion in a safe manner. Additionally, his choreography is logical in both a character and a narrative sense, and his knowledge allows for quick adaptation to any challenges that arise on set.

Working with Wombat on Stick as our safety/action consultant was an absolute pleasure. Their knowledge of on-set safety protocols was second to none — every action sequence was executed with precision and confidence because of the thorough preparation they brought to the table. Wombat’s professionalism set the tone for the entire team, and their clear, calm communication kept everyone informed and safe throughout filming.
